The vast area of the South Pacific spans 33 regions and countries with a population of nearly 35,000,000. It is rich in cultural heritage and spectacular scenery. From volcanic mountains to arid deserts - beautiful beaches to rainforests, this is truly an amazing part of God’s creation.

Griggs University/Griggs International Academy is assisting this region by offering program supplements at Pacific Adventist University in Papua New Guinea to help students solve scheduling conflicts, work around personal commitments, and accommodate family demands. This diverse student body not only comes from the more than 600 islands throughout PNG, but from as far as Egypt, Hawaii, Canada, and New Zealand. After their studies, most of these students return to their countries of origin to serve as pastors, teachers, and professionally in other fields.
