University
Several options are available at the college level:

Griggs University
Griggs University (Silver Spring, Maryland) offers an array of college-level courses that many students use as transfer credit. Whether you need to make up a course or want to accelerate your education, consider this option in accomplishing your goal. Griggs is nationally accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), in Washington, DC, which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation (CORPA). Griggs has partnership arrangements with Andrews University, Washington Adventist University, and Oakwood University. These institutions are regionally accredited (see below) and award credit to students who enroll for courses listed under their sections in the Griggs University College Consortium Enrollment Packet.

Griggs University enjoys formal cooperative and partnership arrangements with other colleges and universities that hold regional accreditation. Bulletins covering these arrangements may be requested from Griggs.

Andrews University Distance Education Program (AU)
Griggs has a cooperative arrangement with Andrews University to offer several degree programs by distance education. Andrews University (Berrien Springs, Michigan) is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Students seeking college credits or degrees through AU’s Distance Education Program must be formally accepted by AU. A number of individual courses are available for transfer purposes. Griggs provides course materials and processes course enrollments, lessons, and exams. AU supervises the academic program. Credits are granted by Andrews University. Students receive an AU diploma upon graduation from the program.

•  General Studies (BS)—Emphasis on Cross-Cultural Relations
•  General Studies (BS)—Emphasis in Human Organization and Behavior
•  General Studies (AA)—Personal Ministries
•  General Studies (BA)—Humanities (BA)

Oakwood University (OU)
Oakwood University’s Individualized Degree Completion Program (IDCP) was established to meet the needs of adult students who find it difficult to finish a college degree during traditional weekday hours or within fixed class schedules because of professional obligations, family necessities, or physical limitations. Griggs furnishes student course supplies and processes course enrollments, lessons, and exams. All course materials and teachers are approved by OU. All transcripts and grade reports are issued by OU, and students receive an OU diploma when they graduate from the program. Students wishing to earn a degree must apply to OU and meet admission requirements. Oakwood University is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, as well as the Adventist Accrediting Agency.

Degrees are available in the following disciplines:

•  Interdisciplinary Studies with Concentrations (BA)
•  Second Bachelor's Degree (See catalog for details.)

Washington Adventist University (WAU)
WAU is regionally accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Griggs furnishes course materials and processes course enrollments, lessons, and exams. All course materials and teachers are approved by WAU, all transcripts and grade reports are issued by WAU, and students receive a WAU diploma when they graduate from the program.

Regionally-accredited degrees are available in the following disciplines:

•  Psychology (BA)
•  Religion (BA)
•  Theology (BA)

•  Business Administration
•  Psychology

Griggs University (GU)
Griggs University is the collegiate division of Griggs University/Griggs International Academy and was founded to meet the needs of international students who have no access to an Adventist campus. It is nationally-accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). Griggs University is also internationally recognized by the governments of several countries. Through it, students can earn nationally-accredited degrees in the following areas

•  Personal Ministries (AA)
•  Religion (BA)
•  Theological Studies (BA)
•  Church Business Management (BS)
•  Religious Education (BS)
•  Master of Christian Ministry*
•  Master of Business Administration (MBA)**
